The female choir Carmen manet was established in 2011 with a wish for choral adventures and love for beautiful musical harmonies. We regularly perform and compete in local and international competitions, concerts and festivals, especially in countries known for their culinary excellence. The most important event thus far was winning the title of the Eurovision Choir of the Year in 2017. What makes each of us proud to be a part of the CM story is our first studio album Apollo 18 and the concert in the largest concert hall in Slovenia, along with many projects that are products of our imagination and love for music. We love cooperating with wonderful Slovenian and international artists and performers, who dare to enrich the choral heritage together with us.

Primož Kerštanj

Primož Kerštanj has been our conductor and musical guru since the very beginning. Together we have won many awards in Slovenia and abroad (Rimini, Tuhelj, Montreaux, Maribor, Guangzhou, Riga, Göteborg) and experienced many adventures along the way. His international reputation and recognition are further supported by his jury membership in many international competitions (Linz, Callella, Tshwane, Poreč, Flanders). He is also an art director of the DOREMI music centre, where he mostly works with autistic children.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Our other accomplishments, besides making music, having countless adventures on stage and eating a lot of home-made sweets together, can be found here, mostly in the form of projects and awards.
